My dear darling child,
You have lived in a well ( busy in studies,home and religion) till now and suddenly we threw you in open world.
In my school days I had read in Marathi which was something like this "jagat diste tase asate ase mannara manascha pay lahulahan houn jate'' it meant if you belive blindly in what you see and act/live/ walk accordingly then every step you take your feet will be injured and will bleed profusely. Rather most often ones heart is bled. But that is how the world is. World is full of variety of people.And you can not change them.But deffinitely you can ignore them.Definitely one can increse the bearing capacity against such heartless and mindless attacks. Tamsik and rajsik people don't deserve your company.
What good is that person who is full of own demands,own needs, own misguided beliefs, own views and out to fulfill own lost aspirations and wishes ( Rajsik) by palying with life of wishes of own child.
See the marriage of Rohit Jain held on 18th Feb. 09 at Silvassa.Rohit comes from a well respected Khandelwal digamaber Jain family. Father ( Shri Rajkumar gangawal ) is selfmade selfsatisfied businessman. Has three factories, two flats in Mumbai, two cars, Has a bungalow in Silavassa etc. etc. Rohit's elder brothers is well settled in UK and his marriage was lavish as girl side spent a lot. But Rohit wanted to marry this girl who comes from Gujrati Jain lower middle class family. The girls mother is under treatment for cancer and father has lucoderma. But when Rohit made it clear to them about his wishes then they agreed and solumnised the marriage in a very humble and simple way. Why? Because they have enjoyed their life enough, they are over satisfied, they have nothing unfulfilled in life no own desire to be satiated. So their aim in life is to see happiness in happiness of their children..
But there are others who have unfulfilled dreams and desires, for whom their ego and belief is bigger then simple happiness of child, for whom own spouse is a dirt and own child is a tool to flatter own ego.
Read the attached ppt and you will realise being just sattvik is not enough but you have to learn and know the world has variety of personalities and the looks and presentations can be deceptive.Learn to take back knifing as part of life and move ahead.
Pl. note that When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.' Have confidence when we have done nothing wrong then no harm will be done to us and that Something good may be on your way.
And remember Ravan could not be persuaded by Hanuman,vibhisan and others,Kauravs cud not be persuaded by whole lot of mantris,vidushaks,intellectuals,and even Kaikayi and even .....read the whole history and mythology which is full of proudy, self distructive, jiddi, obssessibve, maniacs.
So "Let bygones be bygones".Let us find a path which is more soft, peaceful, plesureous,amenable and less hurting.
However we all are with you in whatever decision you take after thoughtful deleberations and you will never find us legging behind when it is our call.
We have lived our life happily and now only want to see happiness on your ( Pratik and you our dear children) faces.In your happiness lies ours.
Do nothing and we will also do nothing which will take away that from us.
