Re: An open letter to The Prime Minister by PPI and views of Alok

Nakkarkhane main tuti ki Avaz

Most common things cant be seen by even most intelligent. Common sense is most uncommon.
I dont expect any punishment to any one from bofors to CWG. For even being honest as far as possible I had to pay bribe on most occassion just to save myself from harrassment, Though if I lost bigger amount then I preffered not to pay and happily forgo refunds.

Corruption is deep rooted.

It is voters who r corrupt. They dont want to vote for honest, known hard working where as dishonest gets all the support from vested interests , communals, criminals. And they win. Finally we get rulers we deserve.

Elections r coming. Ruling party must be interested in 10000 cr. +.And LO! And they found  CWG as one avenue . Kalmadi  must be interested in floating his own party , wanting his own people in large nos in various positions. So to achieve all that he needs money. CWG is the awnser. Raj, Rane , Chagan, Pawar, Uma bharti etc etc floated their pwn party when they had 1000 cr +.
One invests in politics like others do in stock market. Then want to get fat return to become bigger shark, so we see all sharks.

The political system and citizens are to be blamed as election fray needs money money and money alone ( no competence, no eduaction, no honesty, no track records work).

We will continue to see such scams till we can change electioneering ? Who can bell the cat ?? All parties ( with chances to rule) are in deep corruption. They wont change system. May be another Sheshan, Supreme court or slavery is the awnswer. And as such in 12 to 25 yrs India will be slave of Islamic and Chinese nexus. That time u will not expect any thing and be a honest citizen.

Subject: An open letter to The Prime Minister

Dear Prime Minister,

As per news reports, the extraordinary bungling and corruption in your governments organizing of the Commonwealth Games has brought us nothing but shame and humiliation, after having squandered away our nations hard earned Rs 70,000 crores.

What is more, there is serious concern about the widespread impression your government may have given, that your governments ineptness represents the capabilities and competence of the people of India to manage a large project.

Nothing could be further from the truth, and believe me, we will do everything in our power to correct this impression, because this false impression about our great nation will hurt us and our next generation too.

Let it be clearly understood that the systematic mismanagement of the prestigious games represents the dismal capability of the politicians in your government who you put in charge, and it does not at all reflect the capabilities of the people of India .

India comprises people of very high caliber and competence.  India comprises of world renowned engineers, administrators and planners.  A large section of highly qualified Indians undertake projects of mammoth magnitudes in India and all over the world and are widely applauded for their successful completion, often ahead of schedule and within budgets.  Indians are at the forefront of global capabilities in every sphere of industry and project management.

It is clearly a severely flawed electoral system that allows characterless criminals, crooks and incompetents to get elected and then form a government of them to systematically splurge and squander national wealth without any accountability.

So what is the solution now?  The solution lies with you as the head of the government.

You are widely considered a man of integrity.  To live up to that image, you must now publicly resolve and take severe action against all acts of corruption and bring back to the national exchequer every rupee of the Rs 70,000 crores that has been stolen away through corruption or mismanagement.  Thereafter, apply all the pressure your office can bring to bear on electoral reforms so that (i) criminals cannot contest elections, (ii) any kind of bribing of voters instantly disqualifies the candidate concerned, and (iii) the option of None of the above as per Rule 49(O) is prominently provided on the ballot during the next elections.

In conclusion may we reiterate, the scale of reported looting in organizing the Games virtually amounts to treason against the state.  This is something you may like to address to clear your governments name in the long term.

Best wishes,

Forgiveness/ Kshamavani - A Real Stress Buster....so I too seek forgiveness

Today on Ekadashi Jains will say Michami Dukkdam to all even enemies, those distant, those who have broken relations. Here is why:

Sangharsh of thoughts: Should I or should I not forgive & seek pardon.

Subject: Forgiveness/ Kshamavani - A Real Stress Buster

The most humorous thing about forgiveness is that when people forgive someone,
they think they are doing him a favor. Wake up. It's you that is receiving the
biggest favor. Let me explain: Do you know science has already proven that
harbored resentments, hate, hurt, guilt, etc., cause a depletion in your own
system, often leading to disease and self-anguish. It would frighten people to
know how much their pent-up angers and resentments, guilt are depleting their
systems, causing them the lack of peace they blame others for creating. If you
want peace, fun and zest for living, you have to learn to maintain your mental
and emotional nature the same as a doctor helps to maintain your physical. There
are many tools for doing that but forgiveness is the only tool available always
& free.

For those non-Jains, let's not perceive forgiveness & or begging a pardon as
something just religious or spiritual. Look at it in a business sense - smart
business. In an act of forgiveness it's you that especially come out good
because you release that disease-producing energy from your system. These
energies produce hormones that toxify your mental, emotional and physical
system. Forgiveness is just a process of re-balancing your internal energy
distortions to recreate a harmonious flow between yourself and others. The trick
is you have to forgive from the "heart". A common mistake is when people try to
forgive from the "head", then find that the same resentments keep popping up
over and over again. People think they have forgiven others and realize later
that they resent even more. It doesn't mean that you are bad when this happens,
it's just a matter of learning more about your system and, especially, the
difference between the heart and the head. The heart forgives; the head makes
empty promises that do not reach completion. Completion is seriously important
because if you leave a crack in the door, negative thoughts and emotions can
blow it off the hinges. Heart intelligence clearly helps you to understand that
forgiveness and seeking pardon are especially for your own mental and emotional
maintenance.

One would persue anything for own benefit. I'm not implying that forgiveness
doesn't benefit the other person but you are the primary beneficiary when you
forgive someone. And if you realize this then you will have more incentive to
complete the act of forgiveness at the heart level & this will benefit the other
person too as it causes relief in other person too who is most often your own
near & dear one. Then, everyone wins! It's okay to forgive someone for
self-benefits because you have to love and respect your own energies before you
are truly effective in facilitating someone else's needs. The prime message is
that forgiveness is not some little churchy act you put on to do someone else a
favor. It's both parties that receive an increase in their energy bank account.

Forgiving and forgetting the old hurts and hate & guilt from your system is like
taking a mental and emotional Ganga bath. You bath regularly your body but
forget to bath soul/conscience & store negative toxic junk in your mental and
emotional psyche for years without a clean up. Trust me, it taxes your system.
It's really the mental and emotional bath you need daily. That's where your
happiness and quality of life are registered.

Yet another humorous situation is that while you are still poisoning your own
system & doing damage to yourself the people you hate or resent don't even know
about it. It's especially you that you are punishing. Again, I'm not talking
religion, I am not talking Jainism I'm talking business - the business of your
own self-health - "streetsense!" It's about preventative maintenance that can
keep the doctor bills down and keep your happiness and fun up. Be careful of
falling in the trap of justified hate because it's really you that's taking the
lashing. If it sounds like I'm overly intent on this one point, it may be you
that needs to hear it one more time so that you might just hear it for the first
time.

Once you really hear it from the heart, here is how you can do yourself a favor,
a big one: List all the people, organizations, issues or anything you hold hate
and resentments against. Then make a serious effort from the heart to release
those negative frequencies from your system and replace it with heart
intelligence. Heart intelligence would ask you, why drain your life and junk up
your system just because someone else is out to phase out his own life? It may
be hard for you to put out love for someone who has offended you but you can
sure "smarten up" and at least release yourself from the negative feedback loop
created when resenting others and yourself. Forgiveness is a featured aspect of
self-management, yet self-management is not featured in most people's day-to-day
agenda. I'm well aware that some situations are deeply rooted with hurt and pain
caused by others. Still for the sake of your own health and the people around
you, it's worth going deeper in the heart and finally releasing that negative
junk. I know this would sound disgusting but there is no more choice. Of course
in some cases you can create an environment & sit down & tell the other person
that you justifiably feel hurt & that he should desist in mutual benefit from
repeating the mistake. However the trick is not to expect him to change but
definitely give him one fair chance to improve by pardoning once. If this
content sparks any "make-sense" within you and you decide to consider forgiving
more and suffering less, then do it from the heart! The heart is where you will
tap the power of care. It's the care that is missing in people's efforts of good
intentions. Care is love in different degrees and potencies. Turn on the shower
in your heart and rain love. Send heart and love energy into the world if you
really want to play an effective part in cleaning up the planetary stress-mess.

Last but not least don't forget self-forgiveness as self-punishment defies
intelligence and especially common sense. Your heart truth would know that
self-punishment can cause more harm to you than the wrong you did. Forget
self-punishment, pick up the pieces, forgive yourself and move on from there.
However very critical point to be noted hear is that you should not repeat such
serious mistakes which caused you feel so much guilty otherwise there is no use
of forgiveness.

Self-forgiveness followed by strict self restraint, discipline, caution,
vigilance brings your mental and emotional energy systems back into balance or
else either you fall sick with guilt biting you from within every minute of the
day or you become shameless hardcore criminal / offender doing the same
offending act again & again. Do yourself favor folks, ease up on yourself. If
you have something eating on you inside, then talk it out, work it out, release
it & improve & change yourself. Just get it out because it's like an energy
vampire guaranteed to drain daily a percentage of your life's enjoyment
potentials.

Forgiveness has been around for quite awhile & some have been practicing too.
However, you can know it in your "head" for years but the knowledge doesn't turn
into wisdom until you have heard and applied it from the heart. Play with it for
awhile and you can secretly realize that much of the stress you have been
experiencing could have easily been avoided. It was just a matter of listening
to and following what you already know. It's actually fun to start experiencing
the power of your own self-management that leads to self-empowerment as you are
then more refined, more alive, more spotless, more attuned & great listener of
your heart. The true kshmavani can brighten up your life even more than a smile.
Why? Because many times smiles are used to cover up what's not cleaned up.

So go ahead, all out give up what suffocates you & your life & forgive & forget
self & others. Have fun with it.

So here, I offer hardik kshama( Pardon) to all & expect the same from you the lion
hearted,

Compiled by Alok Tholiya

N.B.: Person repeating mistake consciously does not deserve any forgiveness &
should be dealt with suitably.

PL READ TILL THE LAST

Rain

It was a busy
morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman, probably in his 80s, arrived to have
stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an
appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital
signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone
would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I
was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was
well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to
remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of
his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as
he was in such a hurry.

The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to
the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I inquired as to her health.

He told me that she had been there
for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.

He replied that she no longer knew who he was,

that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every
morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?'

He smiled as he patted my hand and said,

'She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.'

I had to hold back
tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought,

'That is the kind of love I want in my life.'

True love is neither physical, nor romantic.

True love is an
acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

With all the jokes
and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there is one that comes along that has an
important message.. This one I thought I could share with you.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

they just make the best of everything they have.

I hope you share this with someone you care about. I just did.

But how to dance in the rain.'

UTTAM TYAG: THE 8TH DAY PREACHINGS IN JAIN TEMPLE

8TH LESSON : UTTAM TYAG

Means renunciation- to give fourfold charities :
  1. Food / Ahar Daan
  2. Fearlessness / Abhay daan
  3. medicine/ Aushadh daan
  4. Education / Shastra Daan / Vidhya daan

And it is because of this inspite of lowest population of Jains( les then .5 % In India itself then at world level it may be miniscule)  they do high charities and one can easily find schools, hospitals, colleges, water huts  etc run by Jain philentrophists and institutions.

may those religions teaching use of weapons / stocking them may rather use their energy in creating schools and hospitals for their own poor and downtroden and use own communities wealth and energy in uplifting deprived rather inciting them.

Jain festival Das Lakshan Parv: day 1 on 13th Sep

Every festival has some purpose. May be most forget the purpose behind the festival. As days pass Jains too get diluted in this sinful world.

However there is a festival known as Das Lakshan Parv or Paryushan. Whose objective is just opposite of what we see in other festivals. It is not for celebrations, not for seeking blessings, not for asking favors from god (rather Jainism says god does not give or take anything) (what you get / face is due to your Karma) (so there is no way you can blame others for your present as same is based on your past) , not for eating and distributing Prasad, not for new clothes, refurbishing your house or office. It is purely for understanding science of life.

Every year Jain saints, teacher, pundits emphatically try to awaken the Jains in their discourses during these 10 days. Each day stands for a particular dharma (highest human order). And incidentally person from any religion can continue to follow his religion and yet be a better Jain then those by birth if they can follow these dictums as taught during these day.

I hereby give in few words the name and meaning of the first day DHARMA:

DAY 1:

Today is UTTAM KSHAMA (Best is forgiveness):

Supreme is forgiveness, observe tolerance and shun anger. Forgiving is the essence of spirituality. It prepares us for our ultimate liberation.

life is about to take off dont loose patience......Alok

"An arrow can be sent forward only by pulling it back. So when life is pulling you backwards, it means it's going to launch you to a victory!"

"Hold on to what you want, as well as believe in."

why respect your family, neighbours, ..and why go to temple???? cause u dont wont to die as rotten fish near whom no ones come..

There r many ( people living in unrealistic world)  who just spend time with TV, movie, friends  who r spiritually in minus and become a psychic case as there mental development stops rather becomes retarded and they r just lustful, funful, career minded but can not remain ethical, trustworthy, faithful, dependable as their character is weak. Even those who visit temple everyday does not mean they r spiritually alive, enlightened. It may be that they r going to temple only as beggar to seek alms ( god give me this or that) , to wash their sins ( they live in fools paradise as they think they can do what they like outside and come inside of temple and god will pardon them. So go to temple to make you strong in character, moral, spirit, ethics etc. and make collection of good Karma's ( but many spend time and money in collection of good shirts or sarees).
And what happens to those who r not so, in detail some other time but I have seen in lodging house run by my grandfather that there were people who came from distant places to Mumbai, made friends for fun and frolic, lived in style and they were so surrounded with glamour that they cut off from family and dependable friends and finally when long sickness, poverty struck them then no friends , relatives visited. They were doing all their potty urine on bed had nothing to eat ( Parveen Bobby, many other celebrities  story is similar) , no one to take care. But occssionally some spiritually alive would come and help from neighbourhood and social workers. And not so spiritually alive who left them in distress came to collect their belonings when they died ( many claimants have cropped up when Parveen Bobby died alone in her flat unnoticed and uncared for long and case is on to claim every penny she left). So one may be surrounded with fans when it is your time ( which is always limited) but being not in  committed relationship the same fans leave you like bird leaves a sinking ship. So for realistic life listen to Tarun sagarji, Vidhyanandji, Osho, and many other good saints like Kabir etc, listen to kadva / bitter friends and live life simple , meaningful and truthfdul. High order but achieveable.

Why go to the Temple???

DEAR ALL, MAY GOD BLESS  EACH & EVERYONE, LOVE & BLESSINGS

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this!
If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it.
If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope!

Why Go To The
Temple ?

A 'devotee' wrote a letter to the editor of an indian newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to the Temple . 'I've gone for 30 years now, he wrote, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 mantras.

But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the Gurus are wasting theirs by giving services at all.

This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals.

But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this... They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work.

If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to the Temple for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!

When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible!

Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment! All right, now that you're done reading, send it on!!! I think everyone should read this!! 'When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say,

'God , could you get that for me?!!'

Thanks and Regards,

story of an old man...........! Knowing where to tap is imp...

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer...... ......... ........ $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap.......... ......... ...... $ 9, 998.00

Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!
